On 26^th January, 2016 AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES) organized a seminar entitled as “Company Presentation and Recruitment Campaign of Swiss Bio-Hygienic Equipments Limited (SBHE)” at Room No.266 Building-2, Faculty of Engineering, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB). The guest speaker of the seminar was Mr. Alexander Dolder (Managing Director, SBHE) and Ms. Judith Greulich (Manager, Design Department, SBHE).  The objective of this seminar was to introduce the participants to Industrial Process System of Biotech and Pharmaceuticals Industry in Bangladesh.

Prof. Dr. A.B.M. Siddique Hossain (Dean, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB) gave the inauguration speech. The first speaker Mr. Alexander Dolder started his speech with the introductory part. There he talked about the technical requirements for hygienic design, company establishment, and future plans of the company. Then the second speaker Ms. Judith Greulich gave overview of the whole company. She talked about the project management of the company and showed process flow diagram, piping & instrument diagram, 3D modeling of the whole plant using AUTOCAD. She also mentioned the key properties at the design department. A video was shown containing 3D modeling of the plant, component checking, pipe preparation, welding-check oxygen level and weld pictures.

At the end Mr. Fazlul Rahim (Deputy Manger-EME) came ahead and acclaimed AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES) for this initiative and encouraged to do more of this. Then he suggested the participants to join in this project .Mr. Nasimul Islam Maruf (Assistant Professor, Dept. of EEE, AIUB), Mr. Sayed Muhammad Baker (Lecturer, Dept. of EEE, AIUB, & Motivator, ACES), Ms. Shahreen Hassan (Lecturer, Dept. of EEE, AIUB, & Motivator, ACES), Mr. Shahriar Hasan (Lecturer, Dept. of EEE, AIUB), Ms. Sumaiya Umme Hani   (Lecturer, Dept. of EEE, AIUB) and Mr. Kazi Ahmed Asif Fuad (Lecturer, Dept. of EEE, AIUB)  graced the seminar with their presence.

At the end of the seminar, Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman (Director & Associate Professor, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB) shared a short speech on the benefits of such seminars and handed over gift vouchers & certificates to the speakers as a symbol of gratitude. Then the effective seminar came to an end with a vote of thanks to the speakers and AIUB Community of Engineering Students (ACES).
