A seminar titled “The Realities of Job Market”

A seminar titled “The Realities of Job Market” was organized by LEADER FOR NATION on the 1st of November, 2011 in the auditorium at 11am. The Vice President of Academics, Prof. Dr. Tafazzal Hossain delivered a welcome speech. The Dean of Engineering Prof. Dr. ABM Siddique Hossain & Dean of Business Administration Dr. Charles C. Villanueva with their valuable words humor enlightened the audience. Dr. Charles expressed his surprise when he found out about the great achievements of LEADER FOR NATION. He wished the organization that it would prosper and finally become an international organization in the near future. The Director of O.P.A (Office of Placement & Alumni) Mr. Tareq Moudud and Director of OSA, Mr. Manzur H Khan also gave short speeches on the occasion. Finally the Founder, President LEADER FOR NATION, student of EEE (11th Semester) Mr. Tanvir Rahman gave thanks to everyone and handed over the mike to the Guest speaker of the seminar Mr. G. Sumdany Don, the Consumer Engagement Specialist, at Philip Morris International- Bangladesh. Mr. Don lectured the students on how to overcome the difficulties in getting a job. He conducted his remarkable presentation with his imaginary friend “Fahad” where he showed various slides on requirements of different job opportunities. The main goal of this seminar was to prepare students for AIUB Job Fair 2011 that will be held on the 19th of November where participating companies will collect CVs. Prof. Dr. ABM Siddique Hossain and Prof. Dr. Tafazzal Hossain, handed over the certificates of achievement to the members who participated in Leaders For Nation-Project Happy Day that involved a day with orphans. Dr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury, BBA Program Director, the Vice President of LEADER FOR NATION Tangina Akther and Adviser of LEADER FOR NATION, MPH Program Coordinator of AIUB  Dr. Aurangzeb Aaru were also present in the event. The seminar ended with the question answer session between Mr. G. Sumdany Don and the students where he answered swiftly and with absolute certainty.
