A Daylong Workshop with Asiatic Events Marketing Ltd. by MMC Students (Major in Advertising) of AIUB

The Students of MMC, (Major in Advertising) of AIUB, from the course of “Advertising Agency Workshop”, had the pleasure to attend a daylong workshop taken by the renowned advertising agency Asiatic Events Marketing Ltd., on Thursday, 4th April, 2013. Mr. Drabir Alam, Sr. Manager- Planning, from Asiatic Events visited at AIUB campus to begin the workshop. Course teacher Mr. Niaz Majumdar greeted him warmly and started the workshop on the Mac Lab in 13th floor of campus # 7. Mr. Drabir first thoroughly briefed the students about the workshop and what they are supposed to do. Later he discussed in details about ATL advertising, BTL advertising, and TTL advertising which are some important processes of communication in the field of advertising. After having a great discussion with presentation for two and half hours he invited the students to Asiatic Events main office at Banani. Later after lunch Mr. Niaz Majumdar led the students to Asiatic Events. Students once again had the opportunity to engage with the BTL system of advertising and had the practical experience of how to handle a client and how to execute a product, and finally how to do the presentation, from brief to launching. They shared one of their products “HORLICS LITE “. Later the students were given a project to research and evaluate this same product by their own. They were divided into 4 groups and after an hour they presented and exchanged their thoughts. Mr Drabir including others executives from Asiatic Events impressed to know some innovative thoughts of the students. Later he gave the students a small tour of the office and told who is who and nature of job of Asiatic Events Marketing Ltd.
