Abstract
Online shopping has become an important part of our lives and its demand is increasing. E-commerce sites are becoming more popular day by day but they often overlook critical accessibility issues that affect users with disabilities highlighting the need for improved accessibility measures. The fast-paced expansion of these commercial platforms frequently creates obstacles in upholding suitable accessibility standards, which hinders overall usability. Through extensive background research and real-time analysis of current accessibility tools, we identified the main problems affecting accessibility on e-commerce sites. To address these issues, we designed a method and developed a system to identify and resolve major accessibility barriers before site deployment. The development of this system centered on accessibility standards, with an emphasis on improving the user experience of online shopping websites. By ensuring the accessibility of these sites to all users according to WCAG guidelines, we are creating a more inclusive digital environment that can potentially increase business profitability by significantly improving the accessibility of e-commerce sites to nearly 99.99%.
