Abstract
The fashion sector AI's rapid integration has drastically changed the conventional paradigms of tailored styling and consumer interaction. From 2019 to 2024, this research focuses on Bangladesh's fashion industry AI adoption and relies on both primary and secondary data. The time series data shows that the adoption of AI technologies has increased more than threefold, from 14.5% in 2019 to an expected 55% in 2024, which parallels increased spending from 9.5 billion BDT to 58 billion BDT in AI-based fashion technology. Meanwhile, routine acceptance of AI-generated outfit suggestions has grown from 23.5% to 64%, and AI-enhanced sales, together with consumer satisfaction, are at 50.8% and 85.5%, respectively. To give these items more insight, a primary survey covering consumer AI fashion recommendation perceptions, adoption motivators, and fears was conducted. AI’s trustworthiness, barriers to adoption, and its ability to make bespoke styling more efficient emerged as critical elements that need attention. By combining quantitative adoption statistics with qualitative consumer insight, this study takes the discussion on AI-driven fashion makeovers to the next level, describing its impact on consumer behavior, industry innovation, and strategic development of intelligent styling solutions.
