AIUB was the venue and event partner for the "Kodomo presents AIUB 5th National Creative Challenge Powered by Berger Paints" held from October 5 to October 7, 2023. This exciting event, organized by the TAAN-RAAT Institute of Bangladesh, coincided with Teacher's Day 2023, and it brought together approximately 2,700 students from schools, colleges, and universities to participate in 37 different competition segments. On the event's final day, over 400 students were declared winners in various categories and were honored during an award ceremony.
The opening ceremony, which took place on Thursday, October 5, 2023, was graced by the presence of notable individuals, including Dr. Seema Hamid (Chairperson, BADHON Society, Founder of BSB Seema Hamid School, Chief Patron, and Chairman of the Youth Global Foundation), Ms. Nadia Anwar (Founder Member - Board of Trustees, American International University – Bangladesh), Mr. Sufi Faruk Ibne Abubakar (Founder of Gurukul Online Learning Network), Mr. Antu Kareem (Managing Director, Pentagon Industries Limited), and Asst. Prof. M. Abdullah Al Mamun (Advisor, TAAN-RAAT Institute of Bangladesh). The opening ceremony also recognized and honored approximately 100 teachers from various schools, colleges, and universities, who received special recognition from the distinguished guests.
The award presentation and closing ceremony of this three-day event took place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, with the honorable presence of Prof. Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain (Member, University Grants Commission of Bangladesh) as the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Abdur Rahman (Pro-Vice-Chancellor, AIUB), Mr. Tazul Islam (Advisor, TAAN-RAAT Institute of Bangladesh & CEO, iXpress), Mr. Ilmul Haque Sajib (Co-founder, Sheba.xyz, President of Rotary Club of Dhaka North West), and Asst. Prof. M. Abdullah Al Mamun (Advisor, TAAN-RAAT Institute of Bangladesh) also attended and played a crucial role in distributing awards and certificates to the deserving winners.
To conclude this grand event, renowned bands from the country delivered electrifying performances in the AIUB Amphitheatre, creating a memorable finale for all participants and attendees.
