The 2^nd International Conference on Computing Advancements - ICCA 2022 "Age of Computing and Augmented Life" (https://icca.aiub.edu) with cooperation of ACM and SIGAPP was inaugurated at the campus of the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) on Thursday, March 10, 2022. The conference is organized by the Department of Computer Science, AIUB and sponsored by prismERP, Brain Station 23, PiS Tech, in association with Prothom Alo and with media partnership of Jamuna Television and Radio today 89.6fm. It will be a three day long- International Conference, where researchers, academicians from different corners of the world will be joining virtually. The conference will be held till March 12, 2022, in a hybrid mode to ensure safety protocols considering the current situation of COVID-19 in mind. After the sudden outbreak of the deadly corona virus, there has been a huge gap in research and academics throughout the world. Therefore, the goal of ICCA 2022 conference is to bring back together the convergence between academicians and industry researchers from different domains of computers science and to focus on the tremendous progress of research works. AIUB always focuses on building leaders for tomorrow thereby pleasantly initiates international conferences, webinars and lecture series having distinguished prominent researchers of various domains as speakers from different corners of the world to disseminate and share their research insights to the audiences.

The Vice Chancellor of AIUB, Dr. Carmen Z. Lamagna presided over the inaugural ceremony on the 10^th of March 2022 at the AIUB Auditorium. Professor Dr. Sazzad Hossain, the honorable member of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) was present as the Chief Guest. Among other distinguished guests, Prof. Dr. A. B. M. Siddique Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Engineering of AIUB, high officials and other faculties were also present. In addition, Prof. Dr. James Harland from Australia, Prof. Dr. Margaret Hamilton from Australia, Prof. Dr. Ng Giap Weng from Malaysia, Prof. Dr. Sohel Rahman from Bangladesh, Prof. Dr. Tetsuya Shimamura from Japan, Dr. Faisal Tariq from UK, Prof. Dr. Achin Bhowmik from United States , Prof. Dr. Kumer Pial Das from United States and lastly Dr. Debajyoti Mondal from Canada will be the respected keynote speakers of the conference sharing their expertise research topics to encourage audience towards it. The conference accepted research papers on different fields of Computers Science, such as, Algorithms and Computations, Software Engineering, Big Data, Communication, Computing, Cryptography, Security and Privacy, Human Computer Interaction, Intelligent Systems, Machine Vision, Smart Computing Systems, Software Engineering and Technology Trends. On the first and second day of the conference, there will be several keynote speeches by the above-mentioned speakers and parallel paper presentations of the accepted papers. The authors of the accepted and presented papers will receive a certificate as a token of appreciation. On the 3^rd day of the conference, 12^th of March 2022 a Workshop on “Network Penetration Testing” will be performed by Md. Manirul Islam-Director of Institute of Continuing Education, AIUB.  All the accepted, registered and presented papers will be submitted to ACM Digital Library for publication. The closing ceremony of the conference will be held on the 12^th of March 2022 at the permanent campus of AIUB and on the ceremony, awards and crests will be distributed to the contributors to the conference.
