The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS), AIUB celebrated the academic achievements of 192 students, awarding them the prestigious Dean’s Award for their exceptional performance in the Fall and Spring semesters of 2024–25. The award ceremony was held on Monday at the university’s Multipurpose Hall, Annex 7, with families and friends of the honorees joining the celebration, making the occasion vibrant and heartwarming.

The event was graced by the Vice Chancellor of AIUB, Professor Dr. Saiful Islam, as Chief Guest. The ceremony was presided over by the Dean of FASS, Professor Dr. Tazul Islam. Their presence, along with advisors, department heads, esteemed professors, and faculty members, added to the festive spirit and recognition of the students’ accomplishments.

For the Fall 2024–25 semester, a total of 30 students from English, 9 from Economics, 43 from Law, and 1 from Media and Mass Communication were recognized. For the Spring 2024–25 semester, the awardees included 30 students from English, 8 from Economics, 27 from Law, and 2 from Media and Mass Communication.

Graduate students from the departments of Public Health, Development Studies, and Law were also honored for their outstanding academic performance, further highlighting the breadth of excellence across FASS.
