10th FOUNDATION FESTIVAL OF AIUB DRAMA CLUB

AIUB DRAMA CLUB (ADC) has stepped into its 10th year, and for the celebration a two-day-long program was arranged on 20th November to 21st November 2013 in the campus. It was a collaborative effort by almost all the clubs of AIUB including AIUB BUSINESS CLUB (ABC), AIUB ORATORY CLUB (AOC), AIUB ARTS CLUB (AAC), AIUB FILM CLUB (AFC), AIUB PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB (AIUBPC), AIUB SOCIAL WELFARE CLUB (SHOMOY), AIUB SOCIETY FOR HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT and AIUB PERFORMING ARTS CLUB (APAC). The Media Partners were The Independent & Dhaka FM 90.4. On the first day, The Program was inaugurated by Honorable Dramatist Mr. Mamunur Rashid, Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva Dean of Faculty of Business Administration. Mr. Manzur H. Khan Director of Office of Student Affairs,Farheen Hasan Head of Department of Management & MIS, Mr. Ziarat Hossain Khan Deputy Director of OSA and other officials and faculty members were also present. The opening Ceremony took place at 10:15am in the presence of honorable guests with a street drama presented by AIUB DRAMA CLUB (ADC) near Campus 5 followed by a Rally (Mongol Shovajatra) from campus 5 to 7 to 1. After the rally, at 11:00 am an Arts and Photography Exhibition was arranged by AAC & AIUBPC in the Campus 1 Study Area. At 12:00 pm an Art Competition was organized by AAC. At 12:30 pm a Debate Competition was organized by AOC in the Auditorium and a Presentation Competition was conducted By ABC simultaneously in Room No: 161. At 4:00 pm there was a Seminar on Charity Work as well as Performance of Speed Breakers organized By SHOMOY Club. On the second day of Celebration (21st November 2013) at 11 am a Seminar on Extra-Curricular activities was organized By Society for HRM. From 12:30 pm a Film show was staged by AFC. From 3:30 pm, AOC organized a Fun Debate. From 04:00 pm Prize Distribution Ceremony took place for the best performance in the various competitions. At 04:30 pm Premier Show of Short Film PAPEE by Ashik Ishtiak was held. AIUB DRAMA CLUB’s Alumni were given farewell in the closing ceremony with a cultural program by APAC.
