Pharmacovigilance and Public Health
The objective of this research group is to investigate drug safety, adverse drug reactions (ADRs), and the burden of disease across diverse populations. The group also explores the prevalence of various diseases, their socioeconomic determinants, and the treatment challenges faced by patients in resource-limited settings. By analyzing drug utilization patterns and identifying risk factors associated with adverse outcomes, the team generates critical insights that inform public health policies and enhance clinical practice. Additionally, the group’s research outputs help increase awareness of pharmacovigilance systems among healthcare professionals and students, thereby fostering a culture of patient safety and evidence-based decision-making in healthcare systems.INTEREST(S)
