Communicable Diseases and Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs)
Much research has been done on Communicable Diseases and NCDs and there are lot more to do in future, especially in LMICs (Low-Middle income countries) like Bangladesh. NCDs like cardiovascular diseases, cancers, chronic respiratory diseases, diabetes are major concerns along with communicable diseases. This area will explore the epidemiological aspects of communicable and non-communicable diseases and the relationship among other underlying factors like socio-demographic, environmental, nutritional etc. to identify barriers and challenges to prevent the incidence and reduce the prevalence of emerging diseases for implementing sustainable intervention programs to combat with double and triple burden of diseases.INTEREST(S)
