FBA organized a seminar on Unlocking Career Potential: Strategies For Success

The Faculty of Business Administration successfully hosted a seminar titled “Unlocking Career Potential: Strategies for Success” on December 23, 2024. The event was a joint initiative of the Department of Accounting and the Department of Management & HRM, held from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM for Accounting and HRM major students.

The seminar featured Mohammad Hasanuzzaman Begh, Senior Manager of People’s Acquisition, HR Division at Eastern Bank PLC, as the keynote speaker. Mr. Begh delivered an inspiring session emphasizing strategies for HR recruitment and selection techniques in detail to enhance career prospects in the evolving business environment. From his long time experience Mr. Begh shared the invaluable insights about the CV writing to Interview session among the students which in turn stimulated the knowledge of FBA students. The objective of this Seminar is harmoniously aligned with the Sustainable Development Goal of ensuring Quality Education (SDG 4).

 

The program was jointly facilitated by Dr. Kamrul Hasan, Professor & Head, Department of Accounting, and Dr. Md. Aftab Anwar, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Management & HRM. Additionally, Dr. Mohammad Faridul Alam, Director of the MBA & EMBA programs, offered the vote of thanks, acknowledging the collective efforts of organizers and participants.

Other distinguished attendees included Mr. Mohammad Ali, Ms. Tamanna Nazneen Rahman, Ms. Saeeda Tajrian, Ms. Sazia Afrin, and Ms. Tasnia Shahreen Khan, who contributed to the program's success.

Dr. Rezbin Nahar, Director, BBA Program was also present at the seminar, further enriching the event with her insights through her concluding remarks. This collaborative initiative reflects the Faculty of Business Administration’s commitment to fostering industry-academia integration and equipping students with the skills needed to unlock their career potential.
