On the 12th of February 2024, the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) at AIUB organized a vibrant and engaging Freshmen Reception program for the Spring 2023 - 2024 semester at AIUB Media Studio to warmly welcome the newest members of the Economics Department. The program was graced by Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam, Dean, FASS. The Head of the Department and all other esteemed faculty members of the Economics Department along with other department faculty members were present at the event. The Freshmen Reception program was concluded with an enjoyable and pleasant cultural show, organized by the AIUB Economics Club. The event was a fusion of academic enthusiasm where students showcased their talents through diverse performances. The air was abuzz with excitement, echoing the promise of a dynamic educational journey for these budding economists.
