Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman (Associate Dean, Faculty of Engineering), Prof. Dr. Dip Nandi (Director, Faculty of Science and Technology), Associate Prof. Mr. Chowdhury Akram Hossain (Special Assistant - Office of Student Affairs, Faculty of Engineering), Sr. Asst. Prof. Dr. Md. Rifat Hazari (Deputy Director, Dr. Anwarul Abedin Institute of Innovation) and Sr. Asst. Prof. Danilo G. Morgia (Director, IT Operations) represented AIUB in an innovation talk hosted by World Vision Bangladesh on July 28, 2022, at their head office in Banani. Access to education, access to health care, including reproductive health, and climate-smart agriculture were the three subjects addressed by team AIUB.

Team AIUB thoroughly discussed on the following topics:

• Use of Blockchain technology in the healthcare sector using its distributed network architecture, data management capabilities, and sensitive processing capabilities.
• Use of electric power tiller, solar energy along with cooking system, smart electricity meter etc.  

It was highlighted that all projects of AIUB are cost-effective. They will aid in climate change adaption and environmentally responsible agriculture. 

The event was hosted by Ms. Bipasha Dutta (Manager-Strategy, Innovation, and Knowledge Management) and Mr. Rana Dipankar Mazumder (Senior Business Partner-P & C-Staff Engagement, National Office) of World Vision Bangladesh. The session ended with high hopes for future collaboration with AIUB and World Vision, which will accelerate the creation of services that will be advantageous to the organization, donor, recipient, and the nation at large.
