AIUB becomes the first university in Bangladesh to submit Self-Assessment Report (SAR) for EEE program to Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC)

On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) has achieved a significant breakthrough by becoming the first university in Bangladesh to submit a Self-Assessment Report (SAR) to the Bangladesh Accreditation Council (BAC) for the accreditation of Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) program. This accomplishment underscores AIUB's commitment to maintaining high academic standards and continuous improvement, aligning with global best practices in higher education.

The submitted SAR is a comprehensive document that evaluates the quality and effectiveness of the EEE program. It also includes detailed analysis of 10 Standards and 63 criteria set by BAC, reflecting the university's dedication to providing quality education and fostering an environment conducive to academic excellence. The SAR for AIUB's EEE program was meticulously prepared jointly by the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (AIUB-IQAC) and the Self-Assessment Committee (SAC) of the EEE program.

This historic occasion was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed, the esteemed Chairman of the Bangladesh Accreditation Council, alongside Council Members Mr. Istiaque Ahmad and Prof. Dr. Gulshan Ara Latifa, who formally endorsed and accepted the SAR. Additionally, Prof. A.K.M. Munirul Islam, the Council Secretary, Professor Nasir Uddin Ahmed, the Director of Accreditation, and a number of other council members, directors, deputy directors, assistant directors, and staff members were present in the event.
