The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) with support from the AIUB Robotic Crew (ARC) successfully organized an interactive Workshop on Robotics for the members of the Notre Dame College Science Club (NDCSC) on 22nd November 2025, held with great enthusiasm and active participation. Students from Notre Dame College gathered to explore a new frontier of robotics and technology, uniting their curiosity and passion for innovation. The workshop took place on the campus of the American International University–Bangladesh (AIUB), where the university authorities extended their full support, coordination, and valuable ideas to ensure the smooth and successful execution of the event.
The workshop witnessed the participation of 66 students from NDCSC, marking it as one of the most engaging robotics outreach events hosted for college students at AIUB. The program featured a range of hands-on and interactive activities, including introductory robotics sessions, demonstrations of competition-grade robots. Students also enjoyed an exciting Robo Soccer competition, where 16 selected members actively participated. The session concluded with a prize-giving segment, where the Champion and Runners-Up were awarded a Trophy and all participants got Madel, making the experience even more dynamic, engaging, and memorable for all participants. The main technical session and Robo Soccer activity were conducted by Dr. Ebad Zahir, Associate Professor, AIUB, and members from ARC whose engaging delivery and expert guidance greatly enriched the learning experience of the participants.
The day concluded with a Grand Prize Giving Ceremony, where appreciation certificates were handed over to the participating students in recognition of their involvement and successful completion of the workshop. The ceremony was honored by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, Pro Vice Chancellor, AIUB; Prof. Dr. Manzur H. Khan, Proctor, AIUB; Dr. Chowdhury Akram Hossain, Associate Professor and Head of Computer Engineering Department. Mr. Md.
