The Department of English at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) successfully organized a two-day workshop titled "Planning to Teach, Teaching to Inspire: Workshop on Impactful ELT Lessons" on September 7 and 8, 2025. Designed for aspiring English teachers, the workshop aimed to equip participants with the skills to design effective lesson plans that lead to meaningful learning outcomes in the classroom.

Facilitator Hamidul Haque, Head of the Department and Senior Assistant Professor of Department of English at AIUB, combined theoretical insights with practical strategies drawn from real-world teaching experiences. His engaging sessions helped bridge the gap between pedagogical theory and classroom application.

The workshop served as a platform to nurture future educators and trainers in English Language Teaching (ELT). Active participation and enthusiasm from the attendees contributed to the event’s overall success and impact.
