Executive DirectorThe evaluation was conducted in 2 days, April 15-16, 2014 which involved the following activities:
-Intensive review of the self-survey reports on the areas of Faculty, Curriculum and Instruction, Laboratories , Library and other resources. The reports contain the results of the survey by the sub-area committees on each of the areas mentioned. The results revealed the performance of the university in each of these areas in terms of marks from 5-1 (Excellent-Poor) It also include the Best Features and Recommendations for improvement or expansion of resources and services. These information were validated through ocular visit, interview with the students, faculty and management, classroom and laboratory observation, library inspection and inventory of the equipment and facilities of the programs under evaluation.
The evaluation was capped with brief meeting with the management on the highlights of the visit with initial findings and recommendations. As a whole the Evaluation Team expressed satisfaction and favorable observation on the preparation of the documents and availability of resources and facilities related to the programs under evaluation. They also expressed appreciation on the manner the students and faculty responded to the various questions raised during the meetings with them.
The formal report of the PAASCU Evaluation Team will be sent to the management.
The Management expressed utmost appreciation to the different committees, to the AQAC, the Deans, Program Directors, Department Heads, Faculty members, Campus Officers and other officials for joining hands in making this important event successful.
