On-Campus Undergraduate Classes from Sunday, March 13, 2022
It is to notify all concerned that the Undergraduate Classes and laboratories will be held on-campus inside the designated classrooms/ laboratories starting from Sunday, March 13, 2022.
Every student, faculty member and official must follow the COVID-19 safety protocol as announced earlier (as follows).
AIUB COVID-19 Campus Re-Entry protocol
Entry Protocol:
- Every student, faculty member and official, while entering AIUB campus must wear mask at all times and must be screened through the temperature checking tunnel. Anyone having body temperature more than 100 degree Fahrenheit (37.7 degree Celsius) must not enter the premise and return to home immediately.
- Every student, faculty member and official must carry a valid ID card at all times. Students who were unable to collect their valid student ID must check the homepage noticeboard for separate notice on ID collection procedure.
- COVID-19 Vaccination certificate will not be required at this moment. However, students are encouraged to get the vaccine as early as possible.
- If the student or the faculty member or the official is accompanied by driver, please instruct the driver to always wear mask and remain in the designated parking area. Unauthorized and unidentified personnel will be instructed to leave the campus premise immediately.
- Anyone who feels ill, and particularly with COVID-19 type symptoms of cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose, or sore throat, or any of the other symptoms must not come to the campus. Inform your department head/ director and course teachers by email.
When on campus the following minimum standards must be observed at all times:
- A mask is required to be worn in all public, indoor locations on-campus at all times.
- Wash your hands thoroughly and frequently, especially before and after coming into frequent contact with high-touch point surfaces like door handles, bannisters, elevator buttons, equipment, etc.
- Use the hand sanitizer that are located around campus.
- Practice respiratory etiquette including coughing and sneezing into bent elbow and prompt disposal of tissues in the trash (if used).
- Follow the signage when moving around campus spaces and buildings.
- Follow all public health guidelines with respect to restrictions on gatherings, both indoors and outdoors.
- While in campus, if any student feels ill, and particularly with COVID-19 type symptoms of cough, fever, shortness of breath, runny nose, or sore throat, or any of the other symptoms must leave the campus immediately and later inform department head/ director, and course teachers by email.
- If anyone requires medical support, report the medical center immediately.
- In case of consuming food while in the campus, social distance (minimum 6 feet) must be maintained.
- Student services that require to students be in close proximity will remain suspended until further notice.
- Students must avoid gatherings whenever possible. Always stay on your right while walking. Do not block the common space (like corridor, stairway, etc.), and always keep the common space free for movement.
- Any violation of above will lead to immediate send-off from the campus and may be considered as disciplinary violation.
