On Monday, August 14, 2023, at 1 PM, the Office of Student Affairs (OSA) at AIUB organized a meeting titled ‘Meet the Future Leaders.' During this event, the president, general secretary, and the individual in charge of AIUB Student Clubs engaged in an interactive session with Mr. Ishtiaque Abedin, the esteemed Founder Member and Chairman of the AIUB Board of Trustees (BOT). The meeting took place in the Multipurpose Hall of Annex 7.

Mr. Manzur H Khan, the Proctor of AIUB, commenced the meeting by providing a concise overview of all the student clubs. He discussed their operational procedures and also shared a list of upcoming clubs at AIUB. Mr. Ishtiaque Abedin conveyed his pleasure and addressed the club members, expressing his enthusiasm for the opportunity to interact with them in such a session. Approximately 50 students from 20 AIUB Student Clubs and various AIUB sports teams were in attendance. The club members introduced themselves to the honorable chairman and briefly outlined their activities and future plans. Mr. Ishtiaque Abedin offered valuable suggestions and advice, extending his wholehearted support for their future endeavors. He motivated these aspiring leaders to aim high and diligently pursue their dreams.

The meeting was graced by the presence of other notable individuals, including Ms. Shania Mahia Abedin, a Member of the Board of Trustees; Prof. Dr. Nisar Ahmed, the Treasurer; Dr. Zahidul Islam Khan, the Registrar; Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam, the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS); Sr. Associate Prof. Mr. Mashiour Rahma, the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST); Prof. Dr. ABM Rahmatullah, Associate Dean of FASS; Prof. Dr. Dip Nandi, Associate Dean of FST; Prof. Dr. Abdul Mannan, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Engineering (FE); Associate Prof. Dr. Mohammad Faridul Alam, the MBA Director; and Associate Prof. Dr. Saniat Rahman Zishan, the Director of FE. Faculty members and other officials from the Office of Student Affairs, Public Relations, and Sports also attended the meeting.
