DESIGN DIALOGUE: SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF ARCHITECTURE THESIS JURY
AIUB's Department of Architecture hosted a Thesis Jury event for final-year students, promoting lifelong learning and showcasing student work on January 17-18, 2023. Held at the Multipurpose Hall in the Annex-7 Building, the event featured twenty student projects on urban, architectural, and environmental issues, developed under the guidance of faculty mentors. External jurors, including respected architects and academics, provided feedback, enhancing the students’ understanding and practical skills. This open, educational event—likely free to attend—supports professional growth and industry connections for students, bridging academia and practice and positioning graduates for career success in architecture.
 
BIZ-TECH 4.0 INTER-COLLEGE BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION AND QUIZ CONTEST
The Departments of Management Information Systems (MIS) and Human Resource Management (HRM) at American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB) hosted the free public event BizTech 4.0 on June 21-22, 2023. This two-day event focused on the impact of technology on business and aimed to promote lifelong learning by enhancing students' management skills. The second day featured an Inter-College Smart Business Plan Competition and a Quiz Contest on ICT, attracting over 200 participants from 20 colleges. The "Biz-Tech 4.0 Smart Business Models" exhibition allowed students to present their technology-based business ideas to industry experts, fostering critical analytical and problem-solving skills. The event concluded with a prize-giving ceremony recognizing six winning teams, followed by a cultural program by the AIUB Performing Arts Club. The Faculty of Business Administration expressed gratitude to all collaborators for making this enriching experience possible.
 
AIUB Shomoy Club: The IDEAS Challenge 2K23
AIUB fosters lifelong learning through public events like the IDEAS Challenge 2K23, where students and participants from over 30 colleges presented innovative solutions aligned with the SDGs. This event, organized by the AIUB Shomoy Club, focused on social development issues such as clean water, rural development, and mental health, showcasing the creativity and drive of future leaders.

Faculty of Engineering Organized “AIUB Inter College Engineering Quiz Contest 2023.”
On May 20, 2023, the Faculty of Engineering at American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) organized the AIUB Inter College Engineering Quiz Contest 2023, a public free event aimed at promoting lifelong learning and encouraging high school students toward STEM education. Held from 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM, the event attracted over 180 participants from 30 colleges.
Participants registered, received souvenirs, and enjoyed refreshments before the quiz contest began at 10:30 AM. They also took a guided campus tour, visiting engineering labs, classrooms, and other facilities. The day included a prize-giving ceremony, where the winners were announced and prizes awarded by faculty leaders. Mr. Fardin Hasan Dhruba from Notre Dame College won first place, followed by Mr. Ahnaf Hameed Rauf and Mr. Farhan Mashuk Tanim in second and third, respectively. The event concluded with a cultural performance by the AIUB Performing Arts Club and an inspiring talk by Prof. Dr. A.B.M Siddique Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, emphasizing the value of education and lifelong learning.
