The Department of Finance of the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA), American International University -Bangladesh hosted the “Festival of Youth 2025 – Where Youth Empowerment Meets Capital Market Knowledge”, organized by the Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market (BICM), at the Media Studio on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Around 100 students from the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) attended the event.

Prof. Dr. Anwar Hossain, Advisor and Dean (In-Charge) of the Faculty of Business Administration, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Faridul Alam, Director of the MBA Program, attended the program as chief guests. Prof. Dr. Partha Prasad Chowdhury (Head, Department of Marketing), Dr. Mohammed Kamrul Hasan (Associate Professor, Department of Finance), Dr. Kazi Tanvir Mahmud (Associate Professor, Department of Economics), and Mr. Mainuddin Ahmed (Assistant Professor, Department of Accounting) were also present at the event.

The interactive sessions were conducted by Ms. S. M. Kalbin Salema (Assistant Professor, BICM), Mr. Imran Mahmud (Lecturer, BICM), and Mr. Gourav Roy (Lecturer, BICM), who engaged participants with insightful discussions and answered various questions from students. The program concluded with a quiz competition followed by a certificate awarding ceremony. The top five winners received training vouchers worth BDT 2,000 each, redeemable for participation in BICM certificate courses.

The event was organized by Bohi Shahjahan (Head, Department of Finance), Quazi Nur Alam (Assistant Professor, Department of Finance), and Nabila Wahid (Lecturer, Department of Finance).

The session has been highly impactful and engaging, inspiring FBA students to develop an interest in capital market investment and explore career opportunities within the financial and capital market sectors.
