This initiative is strategically aligned with preparing for the next industrial revolution, moving beyond automation to foster human-machine collaboration and socially sustainable manufacturing.

The session began with an opening address by Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, AIUB. The main session of the program was taken by the keynote speaker, Dr. Muhammad Adnan, Program Lead- DL Engineering Management Program, Birmingham City University, who guided attendees through a comprehensive journey from Industry 1.0 to 4.0, before delving into the core technologies and global drivers shaping Industry 5.0.

His presentation critically examined the implications for workforce development, policy adaptation, and educational reform, bringing concepts to life through two detailed case studies and real-world applications.
