AIUB Team Defender and AIUB Team Furious from American International University-Bangladesh have become Champion and 2nd Runner-up respectively of Robo Soccer segment in the event BAIUST EEE DAY 2019. On November 12, 2019 Bangladesh Army International University of Science & Technology observed EEE Day – 2019. Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and BAIUST EEE CLUB hosted a daylong event marking the day. The event was inaugurated by BAIUST Vice-Chancellor Prof. Brig. Gen. K M Salzar Hossain (Retd.). The event consisted of different segments like Project Championship, Circuit Mania, LFR Competition, Robot Run, Robo Soccer and Scavenger Hunt. Over 200 contestants of 13 different universities participated in these competitions. It is a matter of immense joy and pleasure to acknowledge that two teams from AIUB namely, AIUB Team Defender and AIUB Team Furious came out as the Champion and 2nd Runner up respectively of the Robo Soccer segment. AIUB Team Defender consisted of four members named, Md. ShahilPatwary (Student, Dept. of CSE), Md. Mominul Islam Hemel (Student, Dept. of EEE), HasaanMonzurEmon (Student, Dept. of EEE) and Tanmoy Dutta (Student, Dept. of EEE). AIUB Team Furious consisted of four members named Md. ShahilPatwary (Student, Dept. of CSE), Md. Mominul Islam Hemel (Student, Dept. of EEE), HasaanMonzurEmon (Student, Dept. of EEE) and Ommay Salma Rahman Mim (Student, Dept. of CSE). Both the teams’ efforts were acknowledged and appreciated by crests and certificates.
