| The two- day long AIUB New Faculty Orientation Program for Fall 2010-2011 Semester began on Monday, 30th August in AIUB Auditorium of campus -1. A total number of 21 new faculty members attended the program. The new faculty members also attended the day-2 program on IT issues and HR Policies of the University on Tuesday, 31st August 2010 in the Cisco Lab of Campus-4.
Inaugurating the two-day long program Dr. Anwar Hossain the Pro-Vice Chancellor of AIUB welcomed the new faculty members and highlighted the Vision, Mission and major goals and values of the university. During the Day-1 program, New Faculty members had the opportunity to meet with the honorable Founder and Chairman of AIUB Trustee board, Dr. Anwarul Abedin and top officials of the university. The Chairman warmly welcomed the new members to the AIUB family. The New Teachers also appreciated the presence of the honorable Chairman among them.
Among other the top officials of the University, Prof. Dr. Tafazzal Hossain, Vice President, Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Charles C. Villanueva, Dean Faculty of Business Administration, Prof. Dr. ABM Siddique Hossain, Dean of Engineering Faculty, Dr. AKM Matiur Rahman, BBA Program Director, Mr. Ehsanul Huda Chowdhury, MBA Program Director, Dr. Neaz Ahmad, from FASS, Prof. M. A. Quaiyum, Registrar, Mr. Tareque Moudud, Director of OPA, Md. Manirul Islam, Deputy Director of CEC, Mr. Manzur H. Khan, Director of OSA, Dr ABM Rahmatullah, from AQAC, Ms. Tahziba Nasir Chowdhury, Assistant Director, office of Research and Publications and Mr. Nazimuddin Ahmed, Assistant Librarian were also present there to welcome the new members and made presentations regarding the vision, mission, goals and activities of their respective departments.
On day-2 the Director of IT, Mr. Danilo G. Morgia trained the new teachers on how to use the IT resources of the University, and Ms. Karen, Assistant Director of HR briefed on several HR issues.
