Abstract
In the rapidly evolving domain of smart home automation, the demand for intelligent and efficient cleaning solutions is increasing. This paper presents a GSM-integrated autonomous cleaning robot powered by Arduino Uno, featuring ultrasonic and bump sensors for effective navigation and obstacle avoidance. The robot ensures thorough cleaning by intelligently adapting to different home environments while preventing collisions with furniture or walls. With the integration of the SIM900 GSM module, users can remotely monitor and control the robot via SMS commands, enabling real-time communication and control over cleaning operations. This system enhances convenience by allowing users to start, pause, or terminate cleaning cycles and receive real-time status updates, even when they are away from home. The proposed solution addresses the need for efficient and reliable automated cleaning in modern homes, where automation, user convenience and safety are paramount. The paper discusses the system’s design, sensor integration and communication mechanisms, highlighting its potential impact and future developments in smart home cleaning automation.
