On 6 June 2024 (Thursday), the Faculty Research Committee (FRC) of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) of the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) organized another workshop on the use of Stata, a statistical software that enables researchers to analyze, manage, and produce graphical visualizations of data. This session included some repetition from the previous session held last February 2024 as well as some new additions. The workshop was meant to help the teachers of FASS to conduct their research activities smoothly. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Syed Mahin, Lecturer at the Department of Economics, and was arranged by Dr. Md. Asif Kamal, FRC Representative, FASS and Member at the Office of Research. The Dean of FASS and FRC Lead Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam also attended the event and appreciated the initiative. FASS FRC member Dr. Faria Sultana, Head, Department of Economics were present and actively assisted to make the event successful. Participating faculty members who were interested in improving their research profile enthusiastically engaged in the workshop and expressed their interest for more hand-on workshops like this.
