The AIUB Boishakhi Ullash 1422
Like every year, to celebrate the Bengali New Year 1422 a daylong cultural program was arranged by Office of Student Affairs (OSA) on 14th April 2015 at the Banani Club Field. At 11 AM, the celebration started with a colorful rally from Campus 7. The Department of Architecture organized this grand Boishakhi Rally where the students prepared various props, masks, characters resembling the traditional Bengali culture. Dr. Carmen Z Lamagna, Vice Chancellor of AIUB inaugurated the AIUB Boishakhi Ullash 1422. The Treasurer and Founder Vice President (HRD) Dr. Hasanul A. Hasan, Ms. Nadia Anwar, Founder and Vice President, Student Affairs were also present on the occasion. Deans of the Faculties, teachers, students, high officials of AIUB and foreign delegates from various embassies enjoyed the celebration.
 
Stalls of various local traditional items and foods were decorated and displayed by AIUB students. The Boishakhi mela was open for all quarters of people. Highlight of the occasion was performances of Baul Singer, LRB, Bappa & Friends and Shunno. The AIUB Performing Arts Club (APAC) staged their performances in the first part of the program.
 
Every year AIUB Boishaklhi Ullash is organized for students, faculty members, officials of AIUB and the local neighborhood to celebrate the Bengali New Year in a colorful and befitting manner with wholehearted support of AIUB Management.
