On November 7, 2024, the Office of Placement & Alumni (OPA) and the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) of the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) jointly organized a seminar captioned "AI & ML: Shaping the Future of Technology”, in collaboration with Riseup Labs.
Riseup Labs was represented by their Head of Product Development, Mr. Md Rafiquzzaman, Software Engineer Mr. Md Nasim Redoy, Software Engineer Mr. Redwan Hasif Alvi and Manager, People & Culture Mr. Md. Kadimul Hoque Shafin
The event was well attended by students of FST, and the speakers explained to the audience the latest advancements, trends, and opportunities in AI and ML, and how they play a crucial role in today’s technological revolution and Job market. The guests also discussed how their company was taking these new advancements forward to provide more value-added solutions for their customers.
The program was well attended by students of FST who asked numerous questions mostly related to career building in this sector. It was a very lively discussion.
The guests were introduced by the Director OPA Mr. R. Tareque Moudud FCMA who welcomed them to the program and invited them to have similar sessions in the future.
The program was also attended by Associate Professor Mr. Abhijit Bhowmik of FST.
