As per the instructions received from the Ministry of Education, students are required to submit his/her Birth Registration Number (BRN) and/or National Identification Number (NID) to the university as soon as possible. This data collection is a primary phase of determining the vaccine allocation for students by the Ministry of Education, which may be mandatory for reopening the university campuses once the circumstances improve.
Therefore, AIUB students are required to submit the necessary documents by logging into their VUES account in the online AIUB portal (click ‘Submit Identity Information’).
Please note, that while many students have already done so, there were incorrect information submitted by some students as well. As this is not only an official requirement from the university but from the Ministry of Education as well, students must update their submissions and ensure that the required information provided is correct and valid. Invalid/ False submission may be considered as a major disciplinary violation.
Students who are yet to submit their BRN and/or NID information, are requested to do so as soon as possible. Those who do not have their BRN and/or NID are advised to acquire the relevant documents at the earliest possible opportunity (keeping their safety in mind during the pandemic).
