On July 19, 2024, during the international meeting for the project "Smart, Optimized, High-quality, and On-demand Tourism Innovative Education for Sustainable and Green Development" (SOHO), the University of Danang and American International University-Bangladesh formalized their partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
The MOU signing ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son, Vice President of Danang University; Prof. Abdur Rahman, Pro Vice Chancellor of American International University-Bangladesh; and Prof. Dr. Manzur H. Khan, Proctor of American International University-Bangladesh. Also present were representatives from the Department of Science and International Cooperation and the Department of Student Affairs of Danang University.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son commended the significance of the MOU, highlighting its potential to foster enhanced international collaboration and integration.
Prof. Abdur Rahman expressed his honor at the opportunity to visit and collaborate with the University of Danang, recognizing it as a premier institution in Vietnam renowned for its expertise in training, research, and international cooperation. He emphasized the importance of this partnership within the framework of the Erasmus University Education Capacity Building Project.
