The American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) is delighted to invite you to the next episode of Dr Anwarul Abedin Lecture Series. As you already know, this signature public lecture event – designed to engage external speakers of extraordinary intellectual and professional distinction to broaden and enrich the classroom-based education of the University – celebrates the pioneering role, benevolence and contribution of AIUB’s Founder Chairman in the education sector of Bangladesh and beyond.
Padma Shri Prof A. S. Kiran Kumar - Eminent space scientist - will be delivering the talk (online) titled: Space: The New Frontier (South Asian View) on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at 14:30-16:30(Dhaka), 14:00-16:00(Delhi).
Prof Kumar is former Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and Secretary, Dept of Space, Govt. of India. He is credited with the development of key scientific instruments aboard India’s Chandrayaan-1 and Mangalyaan space crafts. Currently, he is Chairman of Physical Research Laboratory Management Council and Member, Space Commission, Govt. of India.
