The Final match of the 4 day-long (August 11 to August 14, 2016) Football tournament “AIUB Champions League (ACL) 2016” of American International University – Bangladesh was held in the Banani Club Ground on August 14, 2016 at 4:00 PM. 16 teams (160 players) from different departments (both undergraduate and graduate students) and two Faculty (teacher)/ Official teams participated in the tournament. In the final match the Chelsea (CSE) defeated the Arsenal (BBA) team by 5-4 (Penalty kick out) and became the Champion of the 2016 Tournament. The player of Real Madrid (Officer) team, Setu was judged the highest scorer of the tournament and Sabit was chosen as the Man of the Final from the Champion team “Chelsea (CSE)”.

The Vice President, Academics Prof. Dr. Tafazzal Hossain, Director (Students Affairs), Mr. Manzur H. Khan, Director (FSIT) Mr. Mashiour Rahman, Head of Undergraduate program, CS, Dr. Dip Nandi and Head of Graduate program, CS, Dr. Tabin Hasan were present during the final match. Prof. Dr. Tafazzal Hossain gave away trophies to teams and medals to the players after the match.
