Mrs. Nadia Anwar, Founder Member and Chairman, Board of Trustees, called on the lead researchers of various research projects funded by the American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) where the distinguished faculty members, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Jashim Uddin, Prof. Dr. Nowshad Amin, and Dr. Muhammad Firoz Mridha were awarded with plaques of appreciation for their remarkable achievement of being enlisted among the Top 2% scientists by Stanford University and Elsevier.
Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Hasanul A Hasan, Founder Member & Vice Chairman, Board of Trustees, Dr. Carmen Z Lamagna, Member, Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahman, Pro-Vice Chancellor, AIUB, Prof. Dr. Siddique Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Manzur H Khan, Proctor, Prof. Dr. Dip Nandi, Associate Dean, Faculty of Science and Technology, Prof. Dr. Faridul Alam, Director, MBA Program, Dr. Saniat Rahman Zishan, Director, Faculty of Engineering were also present at this time.
AIUB funds selected research projects every semester, prioritizing those that address contemporary challenges facing the nation. These research grants are awarded through a competitive process that evaluates numerous proposals from across various faculties.
Present at the event were key lead researchers of the funded projects, including Prof. Dr. Farheen Hasan, Dr. Rowshon Ara Romke, Dr. M. Tanseer Ali, Dr. Shameem Ahmed, and Dr. Farzana Sabeth. Other distinguished attendees included Prof. Dr. Faruque Hossain, Dr. Asif Kamal, Dr. Rinku Basak, Dr. Debajyoti Karmaker from the Office of Research, and Dr. Sabuktagin Rahman from the MPH program.
