AIUB Inter College Football Championship 2026 Kicks Off with Grand Inauguration

The AIUB Inter College Football Championship 2026 officially commenced on Monday, May 18, at the Sports Field of the American International University – Bangladesh (AIUB). The grand inauguration ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Saiful Islam, Vice Chancellor, AIUB.

He was joined by Prof. Dr. Manzur H Khan, Proctor, AIUB; Dr. Ziarat H Khan, Deputy Director, Student Services and Welfare; Mr. Abu Miah Akanda Tuhin, Assistant Director, Public Relations and Mr. Md. Joynal Abedin, Coordinator, Office of Sports, AIUB. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from college students.

Organized by the Office of Sports, AIUB in collaboration with the Office of Student Affairs, the championship brings together 41 colleges from across Dhaka Division. This prestigious tournament serves as a dynamic platform for showcasing emerging football talent and promoting institutional unity and sportsmanship.

All matches are being broadcast live on the official AIUB YouTube channel and the Office of Sports Facebook page, allowing the wider community to join in the excitement. The tournament will continue until May 23, 2026, offering an exhilarating week of Football and competition.
