Dr. Rowshon Ara Romke, an awardee of AIUB Research Grant presented the progress report of the First Phase of her project to the Faculty Research Committee (FRC), FASS on 27 June 2024 at the meeting room at annex 4. The title of her project was “Inclusion of People with Disabilities in the Local Government of Bangladesh: Problems and Prospects”. Dr. Romke successfully presented the progress of her project before FRC members comprising Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam, Dean, FASS and FRC Lead, Dr. Md. Asif Kamal, FRC Representative, FASS and Member at the Office of Research, Dr. Muhammad Wasiful Alam, Head, Department of Public Health, Dr. Buddha Dev Biswas, Head, Department of Social Science, Dr. Faria Sultana, Head, Department of Economics, Mr. M Hamidul Haque, Head, Department of English, Ms. Afroja Sultana, Coordinator, Department of Media and Mass Communication and Dr. Mohammad Abu Taher, on behalf of the Head, Department of Law. The project was unanimously commended by the FRC members to proceed to the next phase. The event was organized and conducted by Dr. Md. Asif Kamal.
