The Department of English, AIUB organized a day long workshop on Academic Writing for Higher Secondary level students from various reputed colleges on December 1st 2016 at FASS building. The workshop started at 10 am in the morning with seventeen participants from Notre Dame College, Viqarunnisa Noon School & College, Saint Joseph College, Imperial College and Future Commerce College. The participants actively took part in two interactive sessions. Mr. Borendra Lal Tripura (Assistant Professor) and Mr. Asif Kamal (Assistant Professor) of the Department of English respectively conducted the first and the second session. The workshop reached closure by 3 pm with certificate distribution among the participants by the Dean of Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) Prof. Dr. Tazul Islam and the Head of the Department of English M Hamidul Haque.
