Abstract
Bangladesh's textile sector has experienced rapid growth and now plays a major role in the national economy. But this quick expansion has also resulted in a significant rise in textile waste, demanding effective recycling techniques. The present study aspires to examine the present textile recycling methodologies in Bangladesh and covers a thorough analysis of all currently used global textile recycling methods, emphasizing each one's potential to reduce pollution, manage waste effectively, and be economically feasible. Through an analysis of globally deployed successful models, our goal is to comprehend the barriers that stand in the way of their incorporation into the textile sector of Bangladesh. We also examine the financial effects of implementing cutting-edge recycling techniques, considering their capacity to lower manufacturing costs, improve resource efficiency, and generate new employment prospects. This study emphasizes the importance of the country's textile sector to this nation's economy and the connections between environmental responsibility, economic sustainability, and textile recycling. This study offers policymakers, industry stakeholders, and environmental advocates useful insights by thoroughly analyzing the possible benefits of using new techniques and the limitations associated with present recycling systems. The ultimate goal of this study is to provide information that will help in the creation of a detailed plan that will maximize textile recycling in Bangladesh.
