Abstract
OBJECTIVES This research focus on to find and study the barriers learners face in accessing digital learning platforms in Bangladesh. Some of the focus areas are evaluating the technological barriers to learning, analyzing the socio-economic barriers, and evaluating the overall educational impact of these barriers. METHODOLOGY A mixed-methods approach was utilized for this study, which combines qualitative and quantitative data. A survey was conducted using Google Forms to gather primary data from over 100 participants, which includes students and educators, focusing on their experiences with digital learning platforms. RESULTS Preliminary expectations suggest that a large number of students in Bangladesh are unable to fully benefit from digital education due to poor internet connections, lack of accessible design, and limited digital literacy. The findings show that over 65% of respondents reported inadequate internet connectivity as a serious complication to access digital learning platforms. Furthermore, 58% of participants highlighted that lack of digital literacy is problematic. The results indicate that these challenges affect students from low-income backgrounds, ultimately blocking the academic progresses of the students
