Abstract

The MHD natural convection behavior inside a square enclosure with a single horizontal fin attached to the heated vertical wall was examined numerically in this study. Each enclosure's top and base have adiabatic conditions, while one wall maintains a high temperature and another a low one. Rayleigh numbers, fin lengths, and fin positions were parametrically investigated as part of the heat transfer performance analysis. The fin system's temperature patterns and efficiency were both carefully examined in the study. The results of the study showed that increasing both the fin and the Rayleigh number increased the average Nusselt number. In order to comprehend the dynamics of the relationship between the Nusselt number and the parameters under investigation, this study employed an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) model.
