Abstract

Background: Over the past 20 years, artificial intelligence and computational technologies have played a significant role in healthcare. It has played a role in diagnosing diseases, providing online treatment, and planning treatment, but data privacy has been a barrier. This research brings significant changes to the field of medicine through artificial intelligence and identifies various barriers in healthcare. Methods: A discussion was held on technical reports, peer-reviewed articles, and clinical case studies published between 2005 and 2025. It included how AI works in medical imaging, future surgical procedures, and Electronic Health Records (EHR). In addition, 20 healthcare professionals, including data scientists and IT administrators, were interviewed to identify various misconceptions, benefits, and barriers faced while using AI in healthcare organizations. Results: These models have been proven to be accurate and reliable, achieving over 93% accuracy in detecting early heart disease risk and cancer. In the future of healthcare, analytic have led to a 30% improvement in patient rehabilitation. AI-powered EHR systems have also increased efficiency and reduced access time by 45%.However, the system has identified barriers such as quality information and resistance to technological change among employees. Finally, throughout the interview, the emphasis on decision-making using AI and its benefits was consistently emphasized. Conclusion: The integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of AI and computational technologies are playing a very important role for patients. Of course, accurate data, staff skills, and cooperation are very necessary. Important steps must be taken to solve this problem in order to spread this healthcare worldwide.
